How your pay is counted

Andriy coaches boxing: three group classes a week and a few one-to-ones. When he joined, the owner set his pay in Grupy — 300 a class and 50 for every person who comes. On Thursday seven people came and one did not. Andriy marks who came, closes the register, and sees at once: This class paid 650.

What the pay is made of

The owner sets three amounts for group classes; anything left at 0 is switched off.

• A class — a fixed amount for each class you teach. If the class has a minimum number of people, it applies only once that minimum comes: Under 4 people the flat rate does not apply.
• A person — an amount for each person marked Here in the register. Somebody who booked and did not come does not count.
• Share, % — a share of the class’s takings. For every booking that used a session, the takings are the pass price divided by the number of sessions on it. A no-show still counts; a late cancellation does not; a session the studio gave away is worth 0.

One-to-ones have their own three: A session, A person and Share, % of the price — counted once the session is marked paid.

A group class pays: a class + a person × people who came + share × takings.

An example

The owner sets 300 a class, 50 a person and a 10 % share. Passes cost 1,600 for 8 sessions, so each session is worth 200 in takings. Eight people booked with a pass; seven came, one did not.

• A class: 300
• A person: 7 × 50 = 350
• Share: 10 % × (8 × 200) = 160
• The class paid 810.

Step by step: see what you earned

1. After the class, close the register. Mark who came (Here), then tap Close register. Anybody not marked counts as a no-show, and the class’s pay is saved with the rates of that moment: This class paid … and … this month so far.
2. Open Earnings. Choose This week, This month or Pick dates.
3. Earned is the total, beside Sessions, People taught and Takings. Made up of splits it into Per class, Per person and Share of takings.
4. Session by session lists every class. A class whose register is still open shows an estimate.

If you cover somebody’s class, it pays you — whoever taught it. A cancelled class pays nothing.

For the owner: setting the rates

1. In the studio, open Set up → Team and tap the trainer.
2. Under Group classes fill in A class, A person and Share, %; under One-to-one, A session, A person and Share, %. Leave 0 where a part does not apply.
3. The team list sums it up, e.g. 300 a class · 50 a person · 10% of takings.
4. Reports → Trainers shows what everybody taught and what it paid, with Total pay. Payslip (CSV) downloads every line with the rate that applied; lines from registers not yet closed are marked Estimated.
