Join a studio's team

Dmytro teaches stretching. A studio on the other side of town asks him to take two evening classes a week, and the owner says she has sent him an invitation. He finds the email, taps the button, signs in — and the studio's timetable is his to work with.

Step by step

1. Open the invitation email. It says You’re invited to join and the studio’s name. Tap Open the invitation. The link works for 7 days.
2. Check what it is for. The page says Join and the studio’s name, the role you are invited as, and the address the invitation was sent to.
3. Sign in with that address. Tap Sign in or create an account and use the same email the invitation went to — with your email and password, or with Google if you see it and the invitation went to your Google address. New to Grupy? Create an account with that email. See Sign in to Grupy.
4. Tap Accept invitation. You land on the studio’s Today, and your tabs are now Today, Timetable, Availability, Earnings and Studio.
5. Set yourself up. On Availability, choose the classes under What I teach, and add When I work and What I charge if you take one-to-ones. See Set your hours for one-to-ones.
6. See your day. Your classes appear on Today and on the Timetable. See Your day and your timetable.

If something goes wrong

• You are signed in as another address: the invitation only works for the address it was sent to. Tap Use another account to sign out and sign in again with the right one.
• This invitation link has expired or has already been used. Ask the studio to send a new one. A new invitation replaces the old link.
• No email? Look in Spam. The owner also sees the link once when sending the invitation, and can copy it and send it to you another way.

Good to know

• Already on Grupy with that address? Then there is no invitation to accept: the owner adds you straight away. Tap the studio’s name at the top of the screen, and the new studio is in your list.
• Your pay is set by the owner. See How your pay is counted.
• The name clients see next to your classes is set by the owner.
• One account for everything. You can teach at one studio and train at another with the same account. See Your account and several studios.

For the owner

Invite a trainer from Set up → Team → Invite somebody: fill in Their email and What they do, then tap Send the invitation. See Your team: invite trainers, set their pay.
