Passes and prices

Yulia's stretching studio sells a pass of 8 classes, a pass of 4 and single visits for people who want to try it first. Newcomers keep asking what it all costs, and regulars ask whether their pass covers the new evening class. She puts the passes into Grupy once, and her studio page answers both questions.

Step by step

1. Open Set up → Passes. Tap New pass. With none yet, the list says Nothing on sale: without a pass there is nothing for a client to buy.
2. Name it. Name is what clients choose from, such as 8 classes or Morning pass.
3. Set the sessions and the price. Sessions is how many classes the pass holds; each booking uses one. Price is in your studio’s currency, which the label shows, for example Price (UAH).
4. Say how long it lasts. Valid for, days is counted from the first booking, not from the sale. A pass bought ahead does not start running until it is first used.
5. Choose what it covers. Under What it covers, tap the classes it is good for. Nothing chosen means every class, including any you add later.
6. Tap Save. Pass saved. The list shows each pass with its price and how many have been sold, and the Passes row in Set up counts them, such as 3 on sale · 24 in use.

To take a pass off sale, open it and tap More, then Delete this pass. Passes already bought keep working; it only stops being sold.

What clients see

• On your studio page, Passes and prices lists every pass, cheapest first, with its sessions and how many days it is valid, and a Get a pass button.
• When they choose a pass, each one shows its price, what a session works out at, how many days it lasts from their first booking, which classes it covers, or Every class, and what you wrote under About this pass. With two or more passes of several sessions on sale, the one with the lowest price per session is marked Best value.

Other prices, where they live

• A single visit: One visit, without a pass on the class. It is offered beside your passes as Just this class. See Class types.
• One-to-ones: On their own and Each, in a pair on the class; a trainer’s own price wins over the studio’s.
• Event tickets: Ticket price on the event. See One-off classes and events.

Good to know

• How a pass is paid for — by card in the app, at the studio or by transfer — is set in Payments. See Take payments.
• Clients are told before a pass with sessions left on it expires, and Today shows you passes that are about to run out, with Remind them. For selling a pass at the desk, see Clients.
• Cancelling in time returns the session to the pass. How long before a class that stays free is up to you: see Cancellation rules.
