• Hip-hop

  Hip-hop dance grew up in the Bronx, New York, in the 1970s, as part of hip-hop culture alongside DJing, rap and graffiti.

• Breaking

  Breaking, often called breakdance, is one of the first dances of hip-hop culture and was born in the Bronx, New York.

• Dancehall

  Dancehall comes from Jamaica, where it grew up together with dancehall music, which followed reggae.

• K-pop dance

  K-pop dance is the choreography of South Korean pop groups, learned from their music videos and stage performances.

• Twerk

  Twerk is a dance built on fast, rhythmic movements of the hips and glutes, while the rest of the body holds a low, stable position.

• Vogue

  Vogue grew up in the ballroom culture of New York, created by Black and Latino LGBTQ+ communities, where dancers competed at events called balls.
